Longtime Beer Institute CEO dies at 51

Beer Institute CEO Jeff Becker, who had been with the association for 21 years and headed it for a decade, died Jan. 7 after a long battle with cancer. He was 51. Jeff Becker “Raise a glass to a great man,” the institute’s board of directors said in a statement. Before joining the Beer Institute, Becker served as national director of the Techniques of Alcohol Management for the National Licensed Beverage Association.
